Membership Information

There are two separate levels of AIChE membership: Paid Membership and Paid Active Membership. Paid Active Membership requires the payment of yearly dues of $10, and the fulfillment of 6 "membership points" on a semesterly basis. Paid Membership requires only the payment of yearly dues. Membership points are awarded to individuals who participate in certain AIChE sponsored events. Furthermore, certain benefits are associated with each grade of membership. Paid Active Membership within a semester is determined by the number of points gathered in the previous semester, with some exceptions.

The AIChE Secretary updates membership points throughout the semester. To check your membership points, please check the Membership Points page . To become a member of our local chapter of AIChE, you must complete one of the following items:

Paid Membership

• Attend any general meeting and sign in
• Complete payment of AIChE yearly dues of $10 to any AIChE officer at any AIChE event or AIChE office hours.

Paid Active Member

• Fulfill inactive membership requirements above
• Acquire 6 AIChE membership points.
